This exactly! I started laughing when i saw the article about Geelong being able to trade their first rounder, you could literally feel the crows list management team imploding from here.

Again people, we need to give GWS a first rounder for MarchBank and co.

Would any of you doubters prefer that we give pick 13 that we get from Adelaide for Gibbs, or Geelongs first round pick next year?????

Because 1, the deal has already been agreed to by both parties (Carl & Geel)
2, Adelaide's 2nd round pick wouldn't of got a deal done for Geelong 1st rounder. (Adelaide's 2nd rd pick will be likely 33-36 next year as opposed to Carlton's likely 19-24)
3, We're only interested in Adelaide's 1st round pick next year.

Perhaps the statement from Stephen Wells (has a minor role as Geelong's list manager) that the deal is Smedts and their 2017 first round pick for Tuohy and Carlton's 2017 second round pick.

If we rock up tomorrow and say "oh, by the way, we've changed our minds and we're going to give you Adelaide's second rounder" the response will be a polite GAGF.

No I don't think we would, but it seems the situation with Tuohy was a little more sour than we'd hoped.

There's an extremely high chance that the deal is going to net us 5 players for Zach and a pick that could wind up being in the late 20s next year.

So Fletcher was still playing when that highlight reel was made... Obviously none since. Can't say I'm impressed on this Trade at all Would rather have kept 2E
