Mcginnity isn't in the side because of match ups. He is picked as a forward to add pressure in the forward line but he hasn't been playing anywhere near well enough to hold his spot. I don't understand why Newman isn't picked for a game after his 30 possession 5 goal game in the WAFL a couple of weeks back considering we are coming off a loss to Brisbane. He should be sub at least.

In the end we dropped one player from the side that lost to Brisbane and he was one of the one's that could hold their head up after that game. Would prefer Swift as a sub over both Hams and Mcginnity purely because he played better last weekend.

Think it makes you seriously one dimensional. No way they will end up playing like that though, they will all rotate through but, for instance, Yarran is wasted in a pocket

I will be seriously angry at the end of the year if we have kept playing McGinnity ahead of Swift and Stevens (despite Paddy churning out below par performances) and then either of Koby or Swift walk due to lack of opportunities. Happy to see the best players / in form picked but what Paddy served up last week was rubbish. Swift wasnt BOG but certainly played better.
