So I couldn't see this anywhere:
Lachie Weller-14
Connor Blakely-19
Ed Langdon-26
Josh Deluca-39
Rookie?

What are your thoughts? any changes from any other existing players?

Previous players to wear these numbers:
#14
Kingsley Hunter, Josh Simpson, Antoni Grover, Paul Maher (~250 appearances - not sure when Grover swapped from 46)

#19
Gary Dhurrkay, Clayton Hinkley, Alex Forster, James Walker (~225 appearances)

#26
Clive Waterhouse, Kepler Bradley (174 appearances)
(Ed Langdon does not have the same ring to it as either of these two magnificent monikers)

#39
Michael Clark, Daniel Haines, Casey Sibosado (not the luckiest number with 18 games played in total)

Missing a big name off that number in Antoni Grover.
If things don't go as planned next year for some players then I would like to see Weller in the number 4 or 9 next year. Hopefully it doesn't come to that though

O yeah, missed him because he was 46 then 14. Will edit now.

What about Jimmy Walker - life member with 151 games against his name? He wore #19.

I have never understood the numbers.

Do they really expect us to believe that Zac Dawson is the square root of Matt de Boer?

Official numbers aren't usually given out until the rookie draft is finished.
Are you just guessing these or do you have a source?

Wikipedia has:

Langdon #14
Weller #19
Deluca #26
Blakely #39
Hurley #42

Yes I know it's wiki.
Not any more.
Blakely wore #20 at Swans & WA, Deluca #40 in league, but #4 in colts, Weller #27 for Southport, #9 for Qld (brother wore #4 & 44), Ed #2 for Vic, #5 for Sandringham

I had been thinking 26 should go to the Irishman - another guy who will no doubt play the game a little unconventionally; but Clay's logic has won me over here... hand it to Clancee. It has to be.

I think Freo should break new ground in this regard. As the club is at the cutting edge of sports science all the players numbers should be in binary with a bar code on the jumper. From 1 to 0101110.
