Also the side panels are a different colour.

That would be because though it doesn't look like it the main colour of the jersey is black.

From the Broncos website:
ALEX Glenn was today proud to release the NRMA Insurance Broncos' official 2015 Auckland Nines jersey, which pays homage to the links the club has had with New Zealand and its players.

Auckland-born Glenn today became the first person to wear the strip the Broncos will run out in at January's second annual Nines tournament.

The jersey is available for pre-sale order through our Broncos Superstore now, with delivery expected to fans in January - click here to order now.

Designed in conjunction with Nike, the Broncos jersey has black included for the first time as a nod to their history with Kiwi players and their strong New Zealand fan base, which includes 42,732 NZ Facebook followers with 17,051 living in Auckland alone.

The Broncos have had some legendary New Zealand players come through the ranks, including dual international Brad Thorn and three-time premiership winner Tonie Carroll.

The Broncos were also the Auckland Warriors’ first opponents when they entered the Australian Rugby League competition in 1995.

This jersey will also be worn when the Broncos renew that rivalry in New Zealand against the Warriors in an NRL premiership match next year.

Today the design struck a chord with Kiwi Test player Glenn, as it was revealed as the first Broncos' jersey to have ever included a large swathe of black, the official colour of New Zealand.

His teammate Matt Gillett will become the first player to show the jersey in public at the launch of the Auckland Nines tournament in Sydney tomorrow morning.

Glenn was part of the Broncos' giant-killing run in the inaugural Nines last year where the Broncos made it all the way to the final.

He said he was ready for another crack at the Auckland Nines title, and excited to be doing it in such a unique jersey.

"Black is not our colour, but being in New Zealand we thought we could have a bit of a Kiwi feel for it," he said.

"I can't wait to get back there again, to put on this amazing jersey and run out with the boys."

The Broncos forged their path in the short history of the tournament last year, going all the way to the final against the North Queensland Cowboys.

He said the entire Broncos' squad was desperate to be part of the team for this year's title tilt after the amazing experience in 2014.

"The Nines competition last year was a huge hit," said Glenn.

"Even though our team went all the way to the final, it was so relaxed and entertaining.

"In the change rooms we had the music pumping and everyone was dancing and pretty much enjoying themselves.

"The whole weekend itself was like that for the whole time.

"It was a bit of fun - it felt like going out and playing backyard footy."

The players are expecting big support as usual in Auckland next month, with an official Broncos' Supporters' Tour to the event already filling fast - click here for tour details and options.

I wonder how the GayFL hating League diehards are reacting to their players being given footy guernseys by BLK and ISC
Ya want some I'll give itya!

Seriously though, rugby league is played in jerseys, with sleeves. FFS this isn't OzTag nor Touch, this is the bloody NRL. Really getting annoyed with some aspects of the NRL, this is just another one.
