Gerard Fitzgerald. Lindsay went back to play with North Ballarat and their top coach Gerald Fitzgerald said to him to go out and do his thing. He said something along the lines of "you're too good to be playing here" but just enjoy the game. Lindsay kicked a few goals and never looked back.
He was a good kick just lost confidence after a couple of easy misses. He would be nearly the best field kick in North side.

A few goals? Didn't he kick 11 or something in about 3 quarters?

Yeah I also remember reading an interview where Linds said he went to a local park every day and banged through 100 or so goals before he would let himself leave. That muscle memory and learning to quiet his mind = pressure goals from outside the left boundary 45m out.

Don't expect him to do everything, he is mercurial and has arguably the best skills at the club. Wish he could utilise them more up the ground.

We'd be a hell of a lot better side if Thomas was getting 20 touches and 2 goals a game. instead of 7 touches and 2 goals.

Just watched the press conference. Brad couldn't have been more derisive when he heard Benny Gale's name mentioned.

He was spot on about the LT stuff. He didn't like it being done to us, the umps told him to suck it up, so he decided that if that's how it is, we'll take advantage of it too. Makes complete sense to me.
