Things your team does that infuriates you

Consistently playing Jarryn Geary despite no football ability apart from running around heaps...

It is almost as if his games are just to build his fitness as he kicks somehow worse than a 5 year old AusKicker...

* Manage to beat the Bulldogs, Richmond and Essendon fairy regularly but get consistently flogged by North
* Give up after the first bye round, regardless of how promising our form is leading in to the break
* Recruit Collingwood players who instantly go backwards as soon as they walk in the door
* Select a starting 22 based on salary, not ability
* Pull of an impossible win once a season, then get beaten by the only worse team in the competition the next week
* Matt Jones
* Lose all the time
* Has anyone mentioned our handballs?
* Wait for Jack Watts to "drop himself" after a 5 abysmal performances, then drop him when he actually starts playing (relatively) well

... yeah I'll leave it at that for now.

I've always thought if you recruit leftovers it should be from a top 4 side at the very least. Or if a side has way too many of the one type of gun player.
LOL as if any of Hawthorn or Sydney's leftovers would agree to come to Melbourne :drunk:

(Seriously though... Dawes was in a Top 4 team when we recruited him, but he's just not very good)

Poor development of KPF's. The only big forward who has been remotely good is Tredrea, we've botched up countless other attempts in the past - and had to pay for it by paying overs for a big forward in Dixon.

Schultz has been around for a while though. Apart from Butcher who hasn't come on, who have you failed to develop. Wouldn't only about half the clubs have a quality genuine KPF at any one time.

Lose Prelims. Yep that sucks.

Also that stupid blowup tampon/curtain we have instead of a banner. s**t is just embarrassing

Seemingly prioritising off field achievement (e.g. profits, sponsorships, memberships, media whoring, etc.) over on field success.
I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but two premierships since 1958 is seriously infuriating for a club that claims to be the biggest in Australia.

Turning the ball over inexplicably, missing so many shots for goal and blowing so many golden opportunities to kick goals generally, especially when we're on a roll.
All these but also to add putting ourselves under pressure with stupid handball decisions. Happens more when getting pumped by strong teams but watching our kids chain 3 or 4 handballs together only for the last man to be tackled instantly is infuriating.

Double emphasis on missing goal opportunities when on that come back roll.

Sadly it's a Port thing.
No....... It's a normal universal thing. Would you try as hard making your own weekday breakfast as you would making a meal for a women you are planning to propose marriage to on her birthday?

Failing to stick tackles is something that really pisses me off, especially when it seems like players just aren't working hard enough, or when an opposition player is running with the ball and our players just sort of jog along in the same direction without putting on any pressure. Also annoying when players are indecisive and just sort of stand in front of opposition players with the ball. Tackle him ffs.

Continuing to pour games into guys like van Berlo and MacKay despite them being staggeringly average week after week when there are younger, more talented players in the SANFL who somehow aren't given a shot.

The good old 'lets just bomb it long to Betts when he has 2 guys twice his size on him' is a good one too. Our generally abysmal kicking is another one.

Especially with J-Pod busting his guts in the SANFL week in, week out. Has VB retired or is he going again next season?
