Markov added speed and was serviceable, the talls mentioned are McStay & Frampton both added structure to their spine and we’re serviceable during the season.
Pie‘s recruiting last year was surgical precision & spot o without which I doubt they would have hoisted the Cup today.

Mots just need to be consistent with his game but he did kick 24 this year

Cracking game, that advantage call is going to haunt the Lions for a long time.

That was not advantage ina million years, extremely bad umpiring decision that will be dissected to an infinite end this week.

You subtract pendles, sidebottom and howe and they are well placed. But it is not about them. The question is more about whether we have the list to win one. Too end talent is there. But our list doesn’t have X factor, our midfield is too one paced and we don’t have the kicking skills across the ground. Interesting to see how Austin addresses that in the off season.

They proved this year and last year, they are elite under pressure.

In a tight competition, beating a shriveled port Adelaide, limping over the line against GWS… probably the easiest route to the grand final.

They aren’t elite under pressure. The run and gun didn’t work against us and their players went to water when challenged.

It’s a pity the Lions didn’t do what they did to us last week. Went into their shells and paid the ultimate price.

OK Harry Hindsight. What does precision look like for Carlton's recruiting this year?

Precision would look like adding a couple of players to our list that make us a better team in 2024......Collingwood were 1 point away from the Grand Final in 2022 and strategically improved their list. Without Mitchell's in and under work and grunt and without Hill's speed and agility up forward they don't win the GF today.

Brisbane lost it in the precise places they were strong last week. Keidean Coleman was best on last week, setting them up for scores from back half with super precise kicking and intercept marking with the best game he's played; today, he might've got plenty of the ball but was just so, so much less damaging. beat both TDK and Pitto last week with Daniher as chopout, kicking 2 goals; today, he was soundly smashed by the big yank and Cameron. Daniher was the dominant tall on the ground last week; today, he was arguably their only hope forward of the ball. Starcevic negated Martin pretty tidily; today, Hill smashed him to the tune of a Norm Smith.

They played their GF against us last week.
