Dont be deluded. Witts has a lot more potential than Grundy. Massive bloke who is good around the ground and solid below his knees. Grundy has a lot of potential but certianly not as much as Witts.
Plenty used to talk up Wood on these boards before Jolly came.
He is still the same player, all the right attributes, can look good at times but no hard edge to him.
He is an upgrade on Warnock around the ground, but not as good as a tap ruck.
Pies were right to drop him, gave him plenty of chances and he simply didn't grab an opportunity.

This is a ridiculous post. Witts is already far better than Ceglar and Wood despite being significantly younger. He has outperformed Grundy to date and has potential to be a dominant ruckman in the competition.

He also juggled and dropped a mark he should have taken cleanly inside a couple of mins left which would have likely allowed Carltank to keep their lead.
Geez I love having Witts/Grundy around, forget potential, at least you get a genuine contest right now at this stage in their development.

That's the difference right there. All recent premiership teams have had a Ruckman who has had presence on the ground.
Wood is a league player at best. Nothing more nothing less.

Broke rule number 1 of playing in a close game. When deep inside opposition 50, if deciding to kick down the corridor, make sure you kick the ******* s**t out of it.
Instead, an off balance Cameron Wood got no purchase behind his kick from the top of the goal square. It travelled just the required distance and Lachie Neale ate it all up and buried them with a set shot from 25 out right in front lol.

Best percentage option in that scenario (1 point in front, 90 secs to go) is to kick it out in the direction of a boundary.
They deserve what they got. Picking a guy like this in your senior side is a disgrace.
