Where's Echuca at Ringo? Only beaten 1 team home two years in a row. I know you say Briggs is doing a good job, but they don't seem to be improving. Would imagine there'd be a limit as to how long Buckley et al come back and get pantsed.

Are they willing to shell out the dollars to land a big fish like Walker who could attract 6-7 top liners?

Which Walker do you mean redragger? I would have thought the best thing Echuca could do is reappoint Ringo given the points system and need to keep juniors. That said, like the great KB at Richmond, and the committee who dismissed him, they all need to go. And Ringo is probably busy anyway..

Heart says Rochy, brain says Benalla. Hoping to be wrong though.

Tend to agree. Benalla have hit supreme form in the back end of the season.

Without meaning to be a fence sitter, but Euroa, Shepp Swans and especially Seymour and Ky could all go a long way as well.

I see Joe Atley is playing for Rochy again today. Hopefully someone can let us know how he goes.

Played well. Very composed and more than holds his own. Concerning head knock to Heath Aitken who was stretchered off in the last quarter.

Mood Oval looked superb, as it usually does. 14ml of rain and plenty of sun this week would've topped things off.

No good for Heath. Hoping he recovers well as he is often too brave for his own personal wellbeing.

So is Atley qualified for finals?

Yes mate; a TAC game is recognised as a senior game for qualification reasons. Agree that the Tat result was just reward for Daniels. Wall and McGough are both guns and no doubt helped the cause.

Ultra impressive win by the Tigers, well coached and well drilled. Flaherty has them structured well and they outran Ky. Stroobants, Cuttriss and Bowen all terrific, with the coach mighty down back.Hard to see any side outside of Benalla pushing them. a very even side who work for each other always will be hard to beat. Ky, really disappointing, turned the ball over consistently and left it to the same ol'e names to battle away, Sheldons both Tom and Sam , Liam Ogden and Jason Morgan.
Will be a cracker next week, Rochy and Benalla, Ky will need to improve heaps on what they showed to beat Euroa.
Brad Edwards on report as is Josh Mellington for Benalla with a 4 week suspended sentence hanging over him. This will be where the video of all games comes into play. Interesting to see the outcomes of these!!
All hope Heath Aitken is OK and able to play a part in the finals campaign for Rochy.
Ky lacked on field leadership yesterday, will state now: that Sherman wont be the coach in 2016.

Are Seymour the wildcard?

Think KY will account for Euroa not sure about the other the others though , wasn't Sherman signed for two years ? not sure about the final six in the gvl , like the kdl and Murray system where the top two sides get the week of and play the next week for a spot in the granny , the gvl system doesn't reward the top two sides enough .

Yes agree that the GV system doesn't reward 1st or 2nd but I do believe that a side should have to win Atleast 2 games to make the granny

I disagree ,if they have done all the hardwork during 20 rounds of the home and away season finish top of the ladder .they should only have to win two more games to win a flag the present system is a dogs breakfast.

The system the KDL and MFL uses has one less match.

Top two becomes very important.
