That may have been true at one point, but it doesn't mean it continues to be true. Judd last played decent footy consistently back in 2012 and Hodge is still going and in fine form.

Judd's been one of the more consistent high performers of his era. All Australians back to back etc. Far more consistently elite than Hodge without a doubt. You'd be lying if you claimed any different. And as for being more consistent for longer, well given he hasn't played as many games, it makes even less sense.

He has never been a better individual player than Judd

Stick Hodge with those Carlton lists and he'd be considered garbage
