Hodge busted for drink driving is very disappointing. Not way over but over nonetheless. Leader of men but perhaps not such a leader for todays society, particularly it's impressionable youth. At least he's owned up to it though

He's doing his best to catch Judd on the s**t bloke scale.

He does good work for children's cancer charities, the good still outweighs the evil.

Yep. Charity work makes everything okay...

I'd say years of work as an ambassador for children's cancers probably eclipses going 0.01 over the BAC.

agree with his charity work eclipsing his .01-.02 being over but it also means he eclipses judd on the s**t bloke scale frankly,

Puts paid to the 'more consistent for longer' theory, even forgetting about the early career disparity as most promoters of that concept do.

Hodge hasn't finished yet and poor old Juddy's lack of ambition has only seen him feature come preliminary final week twice in his career....

More games doesn't indicate consistency at a high level.

Judd's been one of the more consistent high performers of his era. All Australians back to back etc. Far more consistently elite than Hodge without a doubt. You'd be lying if you claimed any different. And as for being more consistent for longer, well given he hasn't played as many games, it makes even less sense.

More games doesn't mean anything in this case, except that Judd probably could have retired in 2012.

Hodge is a 3 time All Australian. That's the domain of very good players. And that's what Hodge is. The truly great players though are a step above that.
Which is exactly why Hodge is overrated

He has never been a better individual player than Judd

Stick Hodge with those Carlton lists and he'd be considered garbage
