Entitled to your opinion, but I'd take Billings career over Salem, Jones, Nank, DBJ, Amon. Probably borderline with Sicily and Brown a little bit different as he didn't come into the AFL as an 18 year old. Nank obviously a premiership player but has played what? 2 full years in his career?
The problem is, even without the injury, he most likely would’ve posted similar numbers anyway. He’s always been inconsistent, and I don’t mean great and really poor, just never consistently great.
He’s had good patches every year, early 2019 he was on fire but then sorta just ended up being...
Well no, if a player is contracted then the trade is the compensation for breaking that contract. If a player is un contracted or a free agent then they should be able to move because they have no contract tied to a club.
He's an instant upgrade on Lonie (who will most likely leave now), Kent and Hind. Given how well Butler has done for us from richmond i'd be happy to have him. Finally getting some back after the campaigners gave us Fiora & Polo
Can’t deny he didn’t have a great year, but we went from being average and sacking our coach to playing finals in 12 months.
If hill steps it up next year it will make us even better so not many complaints from saints fans at the moment.
If you think having a bag of cocaine doesn’t make you a solid citizen then unfortunately there’s not many solid citizens out there. Lawyers, doctors, nurses, teachers ect ect all dabble in nose beers.
Think we did the right thing trading Bruce and pumping games into King.
Interesting a few took little digs at Bruce at our b&f, thought he was always well liked.
Yeh gonna be interesting what we do with him. He looked really good in defense last year but with Carlisle, Howard & Wilkie not sure theres any need for him to play back. Has a huge tank so could go wing but we've got Billings & Hill there at the moment, a nice conundrum to have.
Yeh looks like you guys have finally started to get things in place, and whilst a lot of people have called for the ‘plastic’ clubs to fail I’ve actually been the opposite. Think if every club can become strong off field and have a period of success on it then the competition is far better off...
