Here are the top 10 results for the 20m sprint, agility test and the repeat sprint test. The big surprise for me is Reece McKenzie coming fourth in the 20m sprint. From what I had heard he was not very athletic

Yeah I read this same shit on here thought it was bs when I read it as all the pics of marks he has on the net he is getting nice height in his leap which lends itself to explosiveness.

The calls he is a man amongst boys I also call BS on as he isn't even that big like say a Wright, Patton or Boyd type.

People just were giving reasons for why the didn't rate him despite him being a dominant force in u18 teams.

Was there a typo over Reece and Daniel McKenzie?? Look at the top 4 of the other tests and Daniel is there.

Agility results
Clem Smith 8.09secs
Daniel McKenzie 8.10

Repeat sprint results
Nakia Cockatoo 23.93secs
Nathan Drummond 23.95
Daniel Nielson 23.99
Daniel McKenzie 24.02

I half expect him to go at Carlton's first pick.
If not perhaps you guys will pick him up with yours.
He has been discussed on the Freo board with a lot of people against us taking him as Chris25 seems to think that he is to similar to Apeness. I tend to agree with that because in 3-5 years time if our fwd line consists of Taberner CHF, Apeness FF/2nd ruck and Mckenzie Fwd pocket then that may well be to tall and not mobile enough. I wouldn't totally be against going for Tom Lamb as he is much more mobile and can also play in a variety of different positions unlike McKenzie.

No Reece ran a 2.87 20 and a 13 beep today.

Take out the International American and Reece was equal quickest with two other Australian lads who are 20+kg lighter.

Beep test results for the South Australians...

Caleb Daniel (South) 168cm - 16.1
Alex Neal-Bullen (Glenelg) 182cm - 15.1
Cory Gregson (Glenelg) 175cm - 14.9
Declan Hamilton (Port) 183cm - 14.7
James Rose (Sturt) 186cm - 14.6
Josh Glenn (Central) 179cm - 14.4
Jake Johansen (Port) 171cm - 14.4
Dean Gore (Sturt) 183cm - 14.1
Keenan Ramsey (Port) 192cm - 13.12
Oleg Markov (North) 186cm - 13.11
Sam Durdin (West) 197cm - 13.10
Tom Read (Sturt) 201cm - 13.10
Brett Eddy (South) 194cm - 12.5

Apparently Caleb Daniel was equal first with Jack Hiscox from NSW. So no surprises there. Neal-Bullen and Gregson performed well, and would have helped their causes after slightly slower 20m sprint times than they'd have liked. Brett Eddy is showing why he is a good state level player.

Also, Dean Gore and Keenan Ramsay topped the goal kicking with a perfect 5 out of 5.

I'm also frustrated that the AFL aren't publishing results here. This could have been made into a massive event but they just don't seem to want to give anything away.

The top 10 in each category are posted on the AFL website. Having all results would be ideal though.

Very excited about Nakia Cockatoo (188cm, 84kg). Not sure where he projects as a pick, but has surely raised his stock considerably over the past week, both on-field and in testing. Scored 29/30 on the kicking test, was #6 in the 20m sprint (2.91 seconds), #1 in the repeat sprint test (23.93 seconds), #5 in standing vertical jump (73cm) and #6 in running vertical jump (89cm) at the Draft Combine. Has played as a third tall/key defender type in NT, but projects more as a big-bodied mid (comparisons have been made to Patrick Dangerfield), and is apparently a good contested ball winner with explosive pace. Was BOG in the Young Guns game that acted as a curtain-raiser to the AFL Grand Final this year too.

12 names, the draft really is pretty compromised these days especially when you add in compo picks.

Depends where they actually go, i.e. where the bids on them are. Having a pretty compromised third round is a lot different than taking the cream out of the first round. I'd guess that all but two (Heeney, Moore) will probably end up being bid on with a mid to late second rounder at best.

Jack hiscox has the most endurance. He has broken 3km time trial record and has got an equal 2nd beep record. I see home becoming a Bradley hill style of player with a mixture of speed and stamina.
