Yeah. I think this latest set back has put the line through his name. A big shame. At this stage he's really fighting time.

Surprised Trent is so close. When I saw him on the weekend. I thought that was it for the season. Hopefully all those tests come up positively.

Apparently Trent could have kept playing, but the decided to just err on the side of caution. I'd say he will 100% this weekend. Stanley a bit more touch and go, but expect him to play.

Jack Martin update:

"The highly rated on-baller is hoping to return via the Suns’ reserves side against Redland in the last weekend of June."

However...

"Suns football manager Marcus Ashcroft won’t rule out Martin returning straight to the AFL.

“His rehab has been seamless, very thorough,,” Ashcroft said.

“We will also be mindful of the fact that Zac Smith came straight back in after a year out.”

Mckenna saying bock likely to get another 1 year contract even if he doesnt play a senior game this year...
Would love him down there.. Can barely even remember him playing for the suns.. Been that long.. But turning 32 n 2 senior games in 2 years.. Not sure its worth cutting a 22yr old with 10 yrs ahead for 1 year with bock?

Does seem a bit crazy really offering a senior list spot to a guy unlikely to play a senior game this season. Give him a rookie spot at best next year if you want to remain at the club "just incase" he gets his dodgey leg right, and upgrade him from there.

His body must be pretty fresh though aside from the leg issues. If he can get it together his form may be surprising. I'm still sceptical but let's see.
