Kind of looking forward to this game.

Hopefully Carlton go easy so Collingwood have no excuses come round one.

Which tough Carlton players do you want to go easy? I'm most worried about Gibbs, he's as tough as nails. He's not alone though, their whole list strikes fear in my heart really.

Be nice to see the big guns back for the pies (well some of them anyway) and Carlton have a decent side in as well.

Good to see these teams are still stubbornly refusing to do anything sensible with the away team's guernsey in games against each other. Collingwood would wear its white guernsey without hesitation in an away game against Port or Fremantle. Why not Carlton?

Because there's enough white there on the Collingwood jumper and away shorts to differentiate. You know, just like there has been for the past century.

A few missing from Pies best 22 - Reid, Sidebottom, Elliott, Adams, White, Frost. Who's missing from Carlton's best team? Reckon they're good value at $2.50, though will likely get pantsed and show everyone how bad they really are.

I do not know that much about your list but this taken from your own board seems legit....

Add witts and Reid, Keeffe and White to this team and this is our best 25 odd players. If we don't have a comfortable win then we should be seriously worried

White and Frost are hardly best 22 surely??

Never change Fadge. :thumbsu:

Honestly i don't care that much what the result is but winning is always nice as long it is a good hit out and no injuries ensue.

Lol...Collingwood actually wore what is now known as its 'clash' guernsey for most of that past century. You must realise that, surely?

And why does it wear that clash guernsey every time it plays against interstate teams with very similar guernseys to Carlton (e.g. Port Adelaide and Fremantle)?

Given they played 40 games between them last year, that's a good indication they're best 22.

Your list is in worse shape than you think then.
