Seems like Gerard Sutton thought the ball touched the Raiders after Ben Cummins said '6 again' hence the call was changed.

Sounds like they were calling last

Clear as you can get. After calling 6 again
You can't change your mind!
So the AFL and NRL Grand Finals turn out to be fizzers; can't wait for the BBL to be decided by a wicket on a no-ball in the final over and complete the hat-trick, pun intended
Broncos went "back to back" in 1997-98 however 1997 was in the 10 team breakaway Super League so it doesn't count as a real "back to back". (Knights won the ARL Premiership that year). What's with the 'first time a team's gone back to back in a unified competition in 25 years' comments
I'm sure Roosters supporters were pretty annoyed when they first heard the changeover call too. Considering it seemed to bounce off a Raiders head. I guess you wouldn't have been complaining had you scored on the next set...
Had that happened and the call been wrong - which we still don't know, cos 9 hasn't actually analysed it - it would've "just" been a wrong decision in the heat of the game.
It wouldn't have been the ******* farce and the debacle that we ended up with. Wighton did everything right. He saw the 6 again, he acted on that, and he got f’ed.

Don't give a fu** about these relatives.
The runner deflected the ball and there was no penalty either. Shambolic.
