I'm aware how wild this Ladder is but hey...we'll see how we go I guess. I guess I just believe in the mental side of footy more than the average person and I feel like Carlton, Melbourne and Sydney are gonna carry some mental damage over from last season that will affect their performance. Just a gut feeling.

If Geelong make the top 2 again this year I’m driving down there and mowing a heap of them down at training. 😡
I’d prefer it if their salary cap and contracts were investigated.

Think Hawthorn tanks for Harley Reid. St Kilda won't finish that low and West Coast will be lower. Pear, based on pre-season alone, should finish lower. Their intraclub was shocking (no other club played that bad) and the pre-season game wasn't much better. I know it's pre-season but generally, most sides look good in pre-season. Or at least until they start playing in the Community Series.

Yes they were playing norf… who struggled to string more than 3 touches together at a time today

But (injuries permitting) the Dogs are a lock for the top 8 this year.

They have lost Dunkley but Jones is still at his best , a slimmer more mobile Keith, Bruce, Gardiner down back have solved their height problems there… along with stalwarts in Dale and Daniel

Add Naughton, Weightman, Lobb… a bigger and quicker JUH up front

Then there’s Darcy… English

Arguably the best crop of talls in the comp plus the midfield of Bont, Libba, Macrae, Treloar, Smith… but fails away a bit after that in terms of quality

Ironically… their midfield is now possibly depth wise their weakest line

In their premiership window

Interesting to hear Bucks this morning having us finishing 7th or 8th.
He obviously doesn't think we will win as many games as last season, and sees us having a 11 to 12 game win season....

Heard him. Based it on the no of close wins not being repeatable. Its fair enough but we have done a few good improvements from last year. However most teams around us match or better our improvements, I think 7-8 is pretty realistic but hopefully wrong.
