I think it's a great appointment, twice won the IPL with Chennai and is likely to bring some fresh ideas from Shipperd.

I'm surprised Warnie has anything nice to say about any coaches!

Very surprised Nevill didn't play for the Gades as a batsman alone, he would have been a better option than Doolan. Don't think the Heat will take him as they will be settled on Peirson for the long term. Not sure how long Hartley's contract with the Thunder is but even if still contracted they could sign him as a batsman alone.

Jake Doran will 'keep' next year for the Thunder one would assume unless there is a specialist International keeper signing. He kept in the last Thunder game and was solid, even though he hates it.
