Coverage of the Shield Final?

I know Fox has covered the past couple of finals, will they this year?

Checked Foxtel TV Guide online, it had nothing there.
Pretty sure it's more interesting than seeing replays of the T20 World Cup games, involving Hong Kong etc.
Foxtel has been known for putting things on at the last minute though, but I doubt it.

they have tried it a few times and it just rates terribly unfortunately.

it's a fairly expensive proposition putting it on too - five days, seven to eight hours, at least half a dozen camera's... very cost unfriendly.

Pretty unfortunate that it will likely just be a live stream, but hopefully the put in a bit more effort than an average shield game and at least put some graphics on there and use some reasonable cameras.

I'd prefer to have a final, rather than 1st place on the table being given the Shield, if given the choice

well that's a pretty common opinion.

I wouldn't be sad if every final took place in Canberra though.

No. Just no. ABC has been excellent
