BRILLIANT Carlton midfielder Patrick Cripps has signed a new deal to keep him at the Blues until the end of 2019.
The young on-baller was contracted until the end of next season, but finalised the new two-year extension this week in a show of faith in the club’s direction.

The deal is expected to earn Cripps more than $500,000 a year in his fifth and sixth seasons. Cripps’ leadership qualities and talent make the 20-year-old arguably the most important on-field figure in the club’s list rebuild.
