And from the looks it wouldnt have improved Arsenal much either if it meant they wouldnt have gone for Sanchez.

FWIW I don't think Arsenal would have been prepared to pay what Barca paid, so its pretty much a theoretical debate anyway.

When selling an excellent player, we will always get worse, which we did. But we didnt improve a rival. Barcelona play in a different league, they are not a rival.
