If the Swans have any thoughts at all about chasing Martin for 3 years, they will need to rid themsleves of Buddy's pay packet substanitally. At his age if he got 400 or 500k he should thank his lucky stars.

I don’t know how or why Martin is a good fit at his age, and how we could afford him.

He is on over $1 mill a year at Richmond and is contracted for next year, we’d have to pay him more than that that and cough up a decent draft pick.

We’ll need that money to pay The Chad in a couple of years.

If North even inquired I'd want the board sacked. 36 year old Buddy Franklin on $800k is not a smart move for a club in a rebuilding phase.

She's driving his price up. There not going anywhere far from Sydney. Wouldn't make much sense considering he up and left the best team in the country at the time for Jesinta in the 1st place to than move interstate and play for another club. Nothing will come of this. Swans will fork out 600k and everyone moves on.
