Gee it would be bloody interesting if he did go to Freo, I would love seeing that.

Lobb is leaving afterall so there is definitely a place for him, if Mundy goes around again Buddy won't even be the oldest in the team!

Obviously Freo are better off chasing Logan McDonald but they may only have one chance at a Premiership over a two year window and one of those years is this year.

Good on Buddy for getting whatever he can get, but he has been looked after for a long time and Swans don't have any flags to show for it, it probably wouldn't kill him to go cheap in his last year so they can keep the team together. Mate she's literally the spokesperson for both of them. She decides what is going to happen she was on morning TV pretty much explaining the situation. Even if he was tempted to go elsewhere she will shut that talk off. Not interested in what Jesinta thinks what does Buddy want to do. Guess it's irrelevant really.

We should be due a "Buddy linked with Collingwood / Buddy sighted talking to Perth person" any day now.

4. Media take the bait and start speculating about him going to Collingwood
5. Kane "troll" Cornes weighs in with his trademark negativity and snarkiness, saying he is just a mediocre player
6. Buddy & Swans end up agreeing to $1.1 mill - $1.2 mill over 2 years
7. Rinse & repeat with next star player who is out of contract
