Rooke is good but I don't think he is that good.

I know I won’t get much support for H at CHF. My reasoning is that I think Cam looks super dangerous inside 50 and H is still useful as a leading target outside 50.

Blake will play when either of King or Ottens don’t.
Byrnes and Prismall would compete for midfield positions.
Mackie and SJ for small forward positions.

Welcome back Goldust. We can't have our banter on the Richmond board anymore becuase I got banned for saying that Greg Tivendale was not a great player and they wouldn't get Andrew Welsh from Essendon in a trade for him.

P.s. would you like to say to my geelong friends (yes I do use the term loosely) what you think of Adam Pattison (one of the players the tigers got for Brad Ottens).

:) JURY still out.

Will say this, did play his best game for the club yesterday. Actually got a few meaningful touches, but disposal was off-key!!!
Old story, big men need time to develop...yarda, yarda!!! And still only young.
Pace I think will be a problem...looks awfully slow on occasions. Anbd I have an inkling Cleve Hughes will overtake him for game time as early as early next season. A far better prospect.

Think you know my feelings on Ottens....have been stated on here on many occasions. I think Geelong may have been dudded to a degree, just as the Tigers did Fitzroy years ago in that Jeff Hogg deal, when we landed Broderick and M. Gale. I think on both occasions the teams we traded with got stuck with someone whose best football was behind them...not through any fault of their own. I think Ottens' injury worries were far greater than the Cats realised. Ditto for Jeff Hogg at the time. My advice, steer clear of players with a history of back problems. It's the one part of the body you absolutely need to have right. Hogg was gone on leaving Tigerland, if Iave an inkling the Tigers had similar concerns with Ottens.

On that deal, Danny Meyer I think was apart of that Ottens deal too - far more excited about hisnprosepcts than those of Pattison. Kid can play! And will be a 100 game player for the club at the least!

As for Pattison, I would be surprised if his career was a long one, but hope the kid proves me wrong!:)
