Shredder is one of those typical great VFL players that can't cut it at AFL level.
He's just not quick enough (mentally and physically) big enough, strong enough, smart enough or talented enough to really become a good AFL player, but like Dom Gleeson, will have a really solid VFL career (and with his achievements so far probably a really really good VFL career).
The best thing IMO for him would be to be signed by a Port Melbourne or the like, the stand alone VFL clubs and become a leader and gun player.
