Another WA warm up today didn't fill me with great confidence about our batting. Voges (he'll be away anyway), Turner and Beaton all got ducks or single figure scores.

Bosisto did hit a 90-odd and bowl well, so that's something.

Very true. Tough call for CA to make, especially with the CA XI.

And feasibility wise as well it would be tough. It would depend on what CA did as well. Say if someone like Will Bosisto gets omitted from the WA squad, what would happen? Would he replace someone in the CA XI? Or does he go from playing a key role for WA, to sitting on the couch and watching? That will be the issue.

You could split them. 8 of the CA XV with 7 of the Australian squad and 8 of the Australian squad with 7 of the CA XV

Obviously that is the sticking point, but I have enough faith in CA and the players that they could get something sorted.

I will say that I don't agree with the CA XI concept, I think majority of the team aren't ready for List A cricket and would learn better if they were around the senior guys of the state team if CA wanted the young guys to experience what professional cricket is about.
