700k 7x for Taranto is a bargain & you know it, in 4 years time Max Holmes will be worth 1.2m in his free agency season.
Hopper I agree was obviously a mistake & should have went to Geelong.

The contract from Max's side was put to the cats about three weeks ago according to the k rock journos. They sat on it a while

Anyone would give Holmes 800 without blinking. He's not yet 22 and would likely be leading the B&F of a team that's currently 6-0. An absolute no-brainer.

Exactly, Holmes on 750k is an absolute bargain. Especially when offers from Hawks, Dogs, Pies etc were apparently 6 Years / $1M+ per year.

Cap is going up and he’ll still be on team friendly deal.
