Basically 2x Pick 1 from North for 2, 3 & 10-14ish? Probably would have hoped for more.

Assuming JHF didn't miraculously decide he wanted to stay at North after next year IMO North's motivation for getting it done now was 2, 8 and 3 all being in play. Port might stink next year but given how they played this year I'd expect their first pick to be 10-15, so that plus a future first isn't that enticing - see Freo and Melbourne negotiating for Jackson. And there's no guarantee WC or GWS or anyone else want to be involved next year.

Nah, softer draw and ratugolea when he joins is the player that will have a big impact next year as he can take the big power forwards. They will beat up on the lower ranked sides and have a good enough midfield and enough scoring avenues to be between 4-8 imo next year.

From memory we turned Tom Bell into Curnow and Lachie Henderson into Harry McKay. We were very close to trading one of those picks for Adam Tomlinson though, got lucky there when that fell through.

You got dogs pick by trading them 2 2nds. Possibly one of those seconds came from Tom bell.

I paid attention to the trade cause the rumour was that dogs offered us 11 for lobbe but cause he was overseas and being different times we just couldn’t get in contact quick enough to push through the deal.
