Swanson for the braves is an interesting one - could be the 2nd year in a row we dont re-sign out leader of the clubhouse. Apparently offered him a 5 year $100m contract during the year which he turned down. Do they offer him more or go for a Turner/Bogaerts/Correa who would cost more but a more reliable bat. In the end I think they re-sign dansby

Boston want to bring back Xander Bogaerts, but are speaking to other teams about the availability of their second basemen, with the plan to put Trevor Story at short in case Bogaerts leaves Boston.

not many take the QF offer - must be nice to know you cane arn more when turning down that type of money


Isn't it more to do with the fact that the qualifying offer is only for one year and most players will want to have longer term deals?
