I'm pretty sure BLK were a break away company of KooGa?BLK were KooGa who started in 1999
Wish we went back to Adidas. If not Adidas would of been happy with New Balance or Puma. Everything about Collingwood these days seems cheap and crapThe fact that the pies having ISC is weird. Would have thought they would have landed a global brand. ASICS or NB would have been sick.
nopeI'm pretty sure BLK were a break away company of KooGa?
It's the rebranded arm of the Australian branch of KooGa, but I thought I read that by the time of the receivership they were a different company?nope
nahIt's the rebranded arm of the Australian branch of KooGa, but I thought I read that by the time of the receivership they were a different company?
hence why the quality all went down and from new factories?
The factory is in Fiji. Blk are global, blk is a branch of Wrs sporting group which is world rugby specialistsIt's the rebranded arm of the Australian branch of KooGa, but I thought I read that by the time of the receivership they were a different company?

Are WRS connected anymore to KooGa though? The factory is in Fiji. Blk are global, blk is a branch of Wrs sporting group which is world rugby specialists
they simply changed their name from KooGa to BLK SportAre WRS connected anymore to KooGa though?
I could be wrong (believe it or not) but I thought I read that it was a different company and that's where the problems came from.
Okthey simply changed their name from KooGa to BLK Sport
same company
Well they changed the name kooga globally to blk as they wanted to tap into more markets other than just rugby. Are WRS connected anymore to KooGa though?

Cheers mateWell they changed the name kooga globally to blk as they wanted to tap into more markets other than just rugby.
I believe their issues started when they went too big too quickly and were diving into multiple high profile teams in multiple codes.
Last year hey also had the issue of the tsunami in Fiji which damaged their factories and halted production.
They are still doing a fair bit but have pulled it back into just rugby. Still sponsoring the rebels and the reds.
They still owe Adelaide something like 700k in sponsorship. 200k to the Gold Coast as well
ISC using the old faded BLK material?Don't know if this should go here, but a SANFL womens league (of 4 teams) all with ISC!?

The company that once distributed KooGa in Australia started BLK.
It looks like ISC still struggle with single vs double number widths. I remember watching Port where the #2 was crazy wide (but normal proportions) while the double digit #2s looked very stretched and skinny.
Same again I suppose. Look how wide Thommo's #5 is.
