Agree. Can't understand how Brown has been left out of teams and Black in.

It may end up that way in time, who knows, but assuming all things stay equal between now and round 1 Brown starts no question.

Waite comes in and Black will be in the VFL to earn his spot back.

I'm also not convinced that Spud is not best 22. People write him off every year and yet he still delivers - Macmillan/Wright and him seem to be fighting for a spot at this stage, and I'm not sure Grima is the player he was. He might also get pushed out.

Black has had shoulder surgery so an interrupted pre-season also.

Both should be fit round 1 from what I have read, correct me if I'm wrong.
