Looks pretty good.
Swan deserves to start ahead of O'bree and I'm not sure Cox deserves his spot as much, however he is a better option than Medhurst.

Looks a good side. Personally, I'd swap Maxwell for Goldsack, and an inanimate carbon rod for Richards. Then they'd be set, I reckon.

This may be a little unrealistic but I'd love to be able squeeze Reid in for that added dimension in the forward line. If nothing more, he would be an on the spot replacement for Rocca if Rocca was struggling up forward again. Would have liked to have seen him coming off the bench on Saturday against the Cats when Rocca couldn't get his hands on it.

The unlucky players to miss out are Licuria and Lonie. The selection of Rusling is interesting- with Buckley likely to not play again this year, if Rusling is fit, I would play him out of the pocket with Rocca and Cloke as the other two marking targets.

Also, if Egan happened to gain match practice and be fit by finals, he is another who could be a wildcard for us in a forward pocket.

Note: Richards only gets a game because you need 2 ruckmen for finals, and he is the default choice. Bryan is a pile of s**t who doesn't deserve to win the Collingwood jumper.

On Maxwell, I have left him out, as in finals you need every single player to be able to do a job on an opposition player, and Maxwell struggles when he is asked to play on someone- see final last year versus dogs, brisbane game this year and many others.

I am not even going to give a reason on why Medhurst should not be in the side he is that bad.

Nathan Buckley - Hard to see happening from here

Guy Richards - bah. What else could we do. You have to go in with back-up for Josh. And although I would have had Bryan infront of Richards a week or 2 ago, i'm back to Richards infront of Bryan. A midget in a bikini with polio infront of both of them.

Brodie Holland - Struggling. Achilles injuries suck.

Paul Licuria - One bloke you might play come finals time ahead of a younger bloke.

Tyson Goldsack - Hard at it.

Ben Reid - Love him already. Get him in. He is a hard match up, and would be the perfect option for a 3rd tall at the minute. Would like to see him line up and the oppositions 3rd tall defender rather than Matt Maguire and Stephen Gilham who both get bigger jobs. Like him a lot more than Rusling who runs only in straight lines and seems very stiff.

It really depends on who we're playing, but in a Grand Final where it's going to be a lot more physical, I'd probably pick Bryan over Richards simply because Richards will snap like a twig.

A Collingwood supporter work colleague had some input with this team, and if Buckley and Rusling aren't available, then maybe Licuria or Holland for Buckley, and Reid, Goldsack or Medhurst for Rusling could be included into that team.

It's tough this far out with the unknown availability of a couple of players.

Not shooting you down as everyone has an opinion..... but I seriously don't know how you can think his absence wasn't missed or will ever be missed? Beside my own opinion .... but didn't J Brown say that Presti is the toughest opponent he has played against?

Can I ask who you would have play at FB then? (at the moment) Presti should have at least a few years more before one of the young fellas steps up and makes that his possie.

As a goal stopper Presti is probably the best in the league. he would be one of the first selected when fit. For someone to leave him out of the team altogether shows they dont have a clue.

Unless Rusling and Buckley play 3-4 home and away games you cant possibly play them in the finals so I will not include them in my team.

Lonie and Holland will need to be sacked or in Lonies case he could be used to trade for another player looking for a fresh start.

Reid is a good prospect and would have liked to see him play some more games even with Rocca back.

Medhurst is someone who could replace Davis easily enough. Both dont do enough.
