Had our chances this season, could not deliver when it mattered. The Giants were never going to give up and we lost our composure big time. Our confidence would have taken a huge hit for sure with Melbourne at the MCG to come, it looks pretty difficult for sure.

I have noticed over the years when we have dropped home games at AO we have had some terrible 4th quarter meltdowns. The same also happened against Richmond earlier in the season and the first game vs the Pies (although Collingwood are a great side anyway and I cannot fault our effort in that game). Had a few bad 4th quarters in away games too.

Most sides who have beaten us this season has lost badly the following week, could it be a costly win for the Giants? .... surely they won't be losing at home to Gold Coast next round. Giving their draw they may win 10-12 games but % may not be enough to get them into the finals. Giving that most of the sides around 7-12 have a rather difficult draw the ladder may remain mostly as is at the end of the season.

Every other club has drafted two or more elite mids since we drafted Dangerfield.
