The Furies notched up their first win of the season with a shock win against the top of the table Bombers in week 4 but couldn't quite back it up last week with a valiant 3 point lost to the Phoenix. Playing at home this week the Furies will be hoping to translate their recent good form into a win against the Dragons.

East Side Phoenix 11.17 (83) defeat Fighting Furies 12.8 (80) LINK

The Dragons will play a team below them on the ladder for the third week in a row and will be looking to beat a lower ranked opponent for a third time. While their recent wins have not been convincing a come from behind victory against the Demons last week that saw a flurry of goals in the final minutes may just be the spark the Dragons need.

Hi Furies,

We have decided to boycott this week's match thread in protest of your spamming against the Phoenix last week.

Cheers.

Boycott a loss while you're at it, that's ours.

Poor Pickitt, if only he got a recruitment pm or two from the Dragons captain, he wouldn't be in this predicament.

I have heard he's sent out 10 pms begging for a BP position.
