I'd play Watson as a batsman at 1,2,3 and Marsh as 6,7 knowing there was extra pace bowling in the side to rotate Johnson around a bit more.

None of the bowlers were effective in the UAE, but Marsh was at least effective with the bat.

He hasn't put in any major performances of note either though other than that A game. He is a talent but he is well down the pecking order and a long way away from a test spot.

Haddin, Wade, Hartley and Nevill are all ahead of him atm.
