Well mine are both definitely ****ed, and pretty much everyone I know who plays Pokemon has either had one that has died, or tried to get a working one but can't. Maybe i'm just super unlucky
Only Red and Blue though, from my experience. All of mine from Gold and Silver and after work perfectly fine.

You're less likely to find a working G/S/C than R/B/Y these days.

The internal clock is killing off second gen carts quicker than first gen.

I had every first/second gen Pokemon game, although I lost my Gold Version.

Since then I just collect 1 version + 3rd version.

So I have Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, Pearl, Platinum, SoulSilver, White, Black2 & X
