Any update on Oakleigh District? I was speaking to somebody today who was at the EFL meeting. Apparently their presentation was basically "the EFL is a stronger league with stronger rules".

I'm not sure I'd expect the move to be approved.

As in salary cap rules?

Any info on Luke Duffy, looks like a quality player who has signed with NFNL Division 1 club Whittlesea.

Sounds like a good get for Whittlesea

What's the news on the recruit front?

I know at Dogland we've picked up a few ex. players and juniors:

Liam Sumner (ex Carlton/GWS)
Harry Hunt (ex junior/senior player - Old Haileybury)
Dino Karamoshos (ex junior/senior player - Old Haileybury)
Todd Heynan (Horsham league)

Curtis Murfett is heading off to play country football.

Edwards gone from SKC , Bruin & Deluca from PORT and Horton Milne from Dingley along with Murfeet from St Paul's. Will we see a mass exit of good high profile players leave SFL as teams are cashed up in other leagues.
I also hear that Ammo clubs are getting raided by country clubs big time. Bendigo leagues in particular. Anyone else hear that. ??

Chelt have picked up Nick Burke who is a former geelong vfl player, but i think he is playing at port VFL so chelt is his home club. Chelt are expecting to have fox and cook fit and ready to go. Bentleigh have picked up rising star Nick bufalo. Dingley have picked up Mullen.

City will lose a few of its young players to VFL clubs, Misi Faimolo & Mykelti playing with Richmond and Tyrell Lafituanai with Frankston.

What are our thoughts on a praccy game the week before round 1? Personally not a fan and would rather a week rest.
