I've been informed that Jackson Peet who trained with Collingwood VFL this pre season got cut and is now back at Dingley.

Correct. He got the tap on the shoulder Monday. There is a maximum number they can have on a list but stiff to get this far and not get a chance to show his stuff in the practice matches. At least by having a crack at club without 2s he can now play at his local club rather then stagnating in a VFL development league team.

Who is the 'power forward' at East Brighton.

Chelt went down to Northern saints (EDFL premier division) by around 10-12 goals today.... Any other teams play any practice matches today?

Ammos player playing for East Brighton this year is from Old Xavs! Gun player, will start season late coming off injury but when up and running is hard to handle! kicked 58 goals in 2013...big red head kid! Great signing by the Vamps!

Matthew Duck is leaving SFL, a big turnover of staff recently ( 18 months). Once there was Holsworth, Ellis, Maree, Duck and Cannizo. All gone except for Cannizo

Handley?

Where is he headed? Staying within football?
Diving Victoria as CEO

Handley?

Not Handley, too old to leave and go anywhere else, plus he loves the Xavs, this bloke played twos last year before getting injured, can play but have East Brighton offered him too much money after playing 2s footy at Ammo level? Should fit into there ones though, with all due respect its a lower standard than ammos, but a lot more physical, we will see how the big fella goes against the bigger stronger backmen.

Only Handley or Goss fit that description. Goss playing for Balwyn in the SFL for big $ and I very much doubt Handley would leave Xavs. Perhaps you are referring to Reserves or U19s player?

Sorry, i should have been more specific, it is Harry Healey, and yes sorry, he played 2s last year and came out of the 19s. Strong boy that could add a bit to the Vamps! He has some of the best hands and goalkicking accuracy ive ever seen. Deadeye dick, so keep an eye out for him, you cant miss him, the kid is huge!

Surely the SFL is not traveling that badly that you need to tout the arrival of a reserves player from another competition?

Xavs had their worst season in recent memory last year and turned over a lot of players. They fact that this lad, despite apparently having "some of the best hands and goalkicking accuracy ive ever seen" did not crack it for senior game suggests he is unlikely to take the competition by storm.

Firstly, hes 20 years old and was on the verge of cracking the ones last season before getting injured and then played 19s the year before. Im telling you, he will be a good player.

Secondly regarding the old xavs, theyve only been the most dominant amateur footy side in the vafa for well ever. 20 A grade premierships tells the story. One bad year in which we won seven straight in the backend was still pretty good. Im not trying to start a big argument here, just explaining the story.

Old Xavs have overrated for a number of seasons now, also the wheels are falling off as there have been quite a few players fleeing the roost.
There will also be another 2 big names leaving at the end of this season.
The big power forward is still very proppy, but his contract states that he's got to be on the park by rnd 8.

No question about Xavs dominance Harry (it is Harry isn’t it?) A great club with unrivalled recent success in the best metro comp in the state. However they were ordinary last year, particularly in the first half of the season and this lad did not crack it for game. Just thought it unusual that a reserves player from another comp was subject to such fanfare.
