The situation seems quite plausible. Guessing the Peta Credlin part is bullshit though.

I'm not sure you get much of that listening to your local ABC station.

BTW...people complaining about the media cover up...
How long did Hawke 'stay' with Hazel while actually with Blanche?
How widely was that reported?
Pre-internet and 24 Hour news cycle with associated content demand.
Apple juice and apple drink.
Internet of the early 90's =/= internet of today by any stretch. How new do you think the Internet is? I was certainly on it back then.

Not justified ethically no, but if we had the round the clock coverage back then, the same thing would have happened to Hawke. (and probably JFK).True, but people trying to justify the media releasing information that is nobodies business (so long as it doesn't affect job performance) on the net/24hr news are being petty.
I'd heard the same rumours. Whilst it is a personal matter the fact that he has used the who basis of the family unit of a male & female parent being required to raise children against the same-sex marriage and paraded his children out everywhere during the election campaign does make his personal relationship soemthing that can be debated in the public domain.
It is though worth noting that Bob Hawke's marriage was a sham before he entered federal politics. Both he and Hazel (she's not the saint some would have you believe) had lovers on the side for a large portion of their marriage. Of our last 6 PMs only 2 have had what could be called strong long term realtionships/marriages that are required to stand the rigors of political life, in Howard and Rudd.
did PJK just like cuckoo clocks and classical music and geoffrey tozer, or was there more to his likes? I heard PJK might have not been the pantsman of the tradition of HawkieWhy be part of the problem?

oh man, the ironies, the ironies.Peta Credlin.
Also Hawke was PM in the 80s, and his infidelity was know (he admitted it on TV).Internet of the early 90's =/= internet of today by any stretch.
Valentino would have struggled to follow Hawkie in the pantsman stakes.did PJK just like cuckoo clocks and classical music and geoffrey tozer, or was there more to his likes? I heard PJK might have not been the pantsman of the tradition of Hawkie
when I saw A... Hawke, I freekin thought Alex freekin Hawke and was ready to correct your malapromism, guess it was my brain malapropism, but really that aint a suprise innitAlso Hawke was PM in the 80s, and his infidelity was know (he admitted it on TV).
so you never heard that PJK has a period where he walked light in his loafers?Valentino would have struggled to follow Hawkie in the pantsman stakes.
Quite possible I suppose, always thought the young man in question was his son though. The love of Keating's life has always been himself anyway.so you never heard that PJK has a period where he walked light in his loafers?
It's pretty tiresome to hear him go on about how great he was. He won one election FFS, by running a scare campaign against a tax he previously supported.Quite possible I suppose, always thought the young man in question was his son though. The love of Keating's life has always been himself anyway.
Keating carried Hawke, and was responsible for every election win. Just ask him, he'll tell you. It's pretty tiresome to hear him go on about how great he was. He won one election FFS, by running a scare campaign against a tax he previously supported.
Bob Hawke won four elections. Pretty easy to tell who was the superior politician.
Can I frame this, have some mates who could organise Keating to sign it too.Keating carried Hawke, and was responsible for every election win. Just ask him, he'll tell you.
