Hoping for Saxo or Movistar to get some guys up the road in a breakaway early, to possibly help their team leaders on the big climbs/descents.
I don't believe so, I can't see them shortening it now anyway.

A few commentators have said Evans saved himself for tonight to win the stage. If so, he is going to have a break away from the top 6 to 10 riders.
Being 24 minutes behind Froome and 20 behind 3rd, realistically where can he attack and the top 10 let him go? late up the first climb of Alpe d'Huez or just after that and on the climb of Col de Sarenne??
