I got the impression that Beveridge was testing Minson today. He didn't pass the challenge you'd have to say.

When in the middle, Hampson won almost twice as many hitouts.
When up forward, he couldn't take a mark one-out against a smaller opponent.
When in defence, he was all at sea and clearly out of his depth.
And wherever he went he kept pushing his opponents with such an obviously illegal technique.

I think Tom Campbell will be playing sooner rather than later.

He only played 2nd half, but looked really composed with the ball and took a couple of nice marks from opposition kicks.

There's a really long thread which is trying to name our best 22 for R1. With such an inexperienced list it is hard to do. Our best 22 isn't a very imposing list whichever way you look at it though, we only have 5 players with more than 80 games experience and another 7 with 51-80 games in the system.

Crameri was the only player who didn't play who is a lock for best 22.
Campbell perhaps best 22, especially given how bad Minson was today.

Murphy played 46% game and Libba and Hrovat only played 15 and 17% of the game before getting injured.
