i'll say, your taste in music is quite unique.

mine changes generally on my mood, but at the moment it'd be:

Nickelback (you pretty much won't find a more consistent band)
Puddle of Mudd
Matchbox 20
Kelly Clarkson (technically she plays 'band' music)
Pink (same theory)
The Script
Coldplay (just for when i feel experimental)
The Fray
Maroon 5
Celtic Thunder (check these guys out, amazing)

I'd challenge anyone to trump that list. but i bet all you guys will be like 'hey, where's metallica? where's acca dacca?' the truth is you guys have bad taste in music.

I dont think anyone that lists Puddle of Mudd second on a list is in any state to be putting heat on anyone elses taste in music

In no particular order:

Between the Buried and Me (definite number one)
Pain of Salvation
Baroness
Coheed & Cambria (even YOTBR)
Protest the Hero
Tides of Man (don't laugh)
Opeth
Dream Theater (mainly back when Moore was around)
Animals As Leaders
Queens of the Stone Age

Actually Alter Bridge should fit in there somewhere, as well as Dillinger...

Jeff Buckley
Pearl Jam
Soundgarden
Aerosmith (older stuff)
Smashing Pumpkins
Alice In Chains
Stone Temple Pilots
Alice Cooper (I know...lame, right?)
Bjork
Radiohead

Genesis,Rush,Jethro Tull,Pink Floyd.

I listen to every genre on the planet but the 4 bands above are what I always fall back too.

I couldn't put ten because they change with my moods.

Rush my biggest influence on my drumming.
Used to wear out the album Moving Pictures on vinyl then bought another vinyl copy then bought the cd.

Neil Peart was god to me as a kid.Tony Banks became a god as I dug up more old 'Genesis records.

P.S. respect to Rohan Connolly playing Rush on SEN.Didn't know you were a Rush fan mate.

So refreshing to hear classy music on the radio.

Not all current favourites or in order but there's heaps of artists where I like a few songs or one album so tried to think of ones where I listen to at least a fair chunk of their music.

Rory Gallagher
The Blues Brothers
The Rolling Stones
Eric Clapton
Hunters and Collectors
Powderfinger
Seasick Steve
Jimi Hendrix
David Bowie
John Butler Trio

Time for a new top ten.

Regular favourites:

Boards of Canada
Porcupine Tree
The Flaming Lips
Radiohead
Russian Circles

Others:

Storm Corrosion
Animal Collective (although that may change after their new album. Not sure of its direction, just yet)
The Besnard Lakes
Opeth
Grizzly Bear (First track of the new album is brilliant although there is a Radiohead/Animal Collective feel to it)

Rage against the machine
AC/DC
Metallica
Iron Maiden
System of a down
Red hot chilli peppers
Johnny cash!
The Offspring (there old stuff)
Nirvana
Tool

not sure on that though lol
