Nathan jones, with tj gone, there will be more midfield time and he is a fair chance his scores will increase. also he is cheaper and has a lot more growth potential money wise. so later on you can upgrade to a midfield gun

hey guys,
what are people's thoughts on ed barlow vs lachie hansen in the back line.
i currently have LH as my 7th forward, EB as my 6th back. Thinking of maybe putting LH in EB's position and having a cheapy foward, like tippet/valenti and hopefully grab some more points that way, and have a bit more cash in the bank. Also, will rhys palmer play round 1?

Im Looking at doing something similar with big decision to swap

gilbee/ellis into newman/mattner

I got Mattner for Gilbee, which gave me cash for Murphy to Stanton.

But I have $140,000 left over, which I'd like to use in mids.

Might as well reveal my backs, who shoulf be upgraded!?

Looking to upgrade 1 of them. But probably keep Nicoski because not much value out there anyway (don't want bradshaw).

Hayes and Porplyzia.

Hayes is a gun and hopefully he doesn't get injured this year, while Porplyzia is expected to perform well and average at least 80, maybe even more.

I would go Jones and Deledio

Jones had a great season last season and I expect him to improve. Deledio is solid at Super Coach.

Hayes has to contribute in a St Kilda team which has Dal Santo, Harvey, Ball, and Clarkes looking for selection.

Porplyzia still uncertain

If you choose Deledio, he should only belong in the forward line. I reckon Priddis is the way to go, but Cooney is also a very good prospect.

I would start Bird and Gamble. Both had better pre seasons than the others and are definite starters for round 1.

the top 2 are pretty tough, if u can use the left over $$ for a good upgrade then go with the second options. Personally I like Hayes but DS is a SC gun. Under 520k - Stanton is the standout IMO
