Just did my trades....and it feels good :D.

Bird (on the bench) ------>Hinkley
Hill---------> J.Brown.

Happy with that, and hoping Big Brown Dogga can rip it up against the dees :thumbsu:.

Dont like the Hinkley trade, should never trade in a rookie until he is named for his third game in my opinion. Now you might have a non playing bench player that stays at $83 grand all year. Not clever.

1 more question Birchall or Goddard.. Heading towards Birchall??

Look I would go Goddard, he is a bigger risk of injury then Birchall (due to his knee reco) but has the capacity to easily average over 95. Birchall is a much safer option, and will probably average a consistent 80 throughout the year

Your decision, but Goddard looks the better option :thumbsu:

Yeh, i agree with that.

Thanks mate. Tough Decision:(. Birhcall wont score below 80 to often Goddard is risk though!!! Ok Im going with Goddard:thumbsu:

Everone seems to be on Hinkley. I reckon Eberts a safer option and should play a lot more games than Hinkley.

Well i needed to get a 83,500 grand player in order to do the trade, now if you have a look there there is only a couple (2-3) 83,500 grand players currently playing (some have been brought in though). Now looking at them Hinkely seems the best option despite only playing 1 game. And also he is named for tomorrow nights game, so it shows that Mark Harvey feels he deserves a spot in the side. Whether that spot is permanent or not is hard to tell, but time will have the answer.

Why not trade tomoz?

Because i have got special tickets to the ANZAC day game (Emirates gives it to us each year, but this is the first time we have been able to go). We have to be at the MCG by 12 oclock, where we will be having lunch with high Emirates people (Eddie Maguire will be there and not sure who else). Not to mention that I have had a freaking hard week at school and will probably sleep in until we have to leave, so wont have time.

Plus considering the teams have been named and its Thursday night, i dont see any problems. And unless something freakish happens, i am pretty dam confident Browny will play.

Don't agree. Hinkley is what the dockers need, quick (2.88 for 20 metres) young midfielder that brakes the line. Him and Ibbotson on the each wing, pretty dangerous especially in years to come. I think he might be given a good go considering the Dockers should start to rebuild. Also he is averaging 24 touches in the WAFL this year from 3 or 4 games so he is very promising IMO

Agreed C23, i just picked Hinkley up in SC, he should get games over Freo's passengers in MCarr, McManus etc etc. Ebert is also a good option - with eagles almost conceding they cant make finals he will hopefully get an extended stay in the 22. its a bit of a raffle trying to decide right now which one will be better...they both have promise and positives

He's still a good option but i think he might be in and out of the side. Hinkley has a good chance to get many games in a row because the dockers midfield is absolutely woeful and horribly old.

Exactly, and that was one thing i considered when picking him.

Also his first game of AFL football was quite impressive. 11 posi's , 4 tackles and a goal just shows what he is capable of, and with the current situation at Freo (poor performers), i think Hinkley will play quite a lot of games this season.

Fair enough. But i'd want to see more than 1 game from him in the AFL before selecting him. People like Matt Carr and Mcmanus will just kill it in WAFL and it could only take 1 bad game for Hinkley to be back in the reserves and one of the veterans to be called up. Who knows though.

He may play next week he may not, I wouldnt take the risk in drafting in a rookie until he is named for his third game in a row. Plus why get J.Brown now? He has that horrible 29 point game in his rolling average.

I got Brown for Hill, a perfect time to do so IMO. Hill BE this week is 63 (according to Fanfooty, although i think its wrong) and i dont think he will be able to reach that and if he does well wats 1 extra grand going to do?. He was brought in as a cash cow and has done his job and has pretty muched peaked.

Brown has fallen 100 odd grand and is currently sitting at a very tempting prise of $315,000. I am doing a trade were i get rid of a young player in Hill (my cash cow) and getting one of the competitions gun forwards in Brown( a premium, despite his current form, I BLAME YOU BRADSHAW!!). Given that his BE is 89 (?) this week and that he is playing the Dees suggest that he should make that quite comfortably. And also i dont think Bradshaw's heroics will continue, he cant possibly keep booting 5 goals a game, and if he does then my hats go off to him. I think Brown will soon take over and should improve his form, just needs a good game to boost his confidence and i think this week is the week.

Mate, i totally agree, i would never get him this week. Don't get a rookie after one game. As dont bowl there said, wait until he is named for his third game.

With regards to Carr and McManus, even if they do kill it, Hinkley has been doing the WAFL same, why play old players when younger ones are just as good?. So if Hinkley can get past this week and play a good game, he will be in for a while IMO. As i said he is averaging 24 touches and 5 marks in 4 games in thew WAFL. I would not be playing the Carr and McManus type of players if i was Harvey, the dockers should be looking towards the future.

Honestly, i would have still waited one more week, wouldn't have hurt. I think Brown's B/E is roughly 100 and Hill should get around 60 so would have been much of a loss then you would have been sure about Hinkley. Also Bird could still make i little more cash.

You just have to hope Hinkley plays a good game, if he does, he will make a fair bit of cash IMO.

According to the site "Walesy" has made..Hill has a B/E of 69:thumbsu:You're Right, it is wrong !

Yep i can agree there aswell. Another reason why the oldies might get the call up in future weeks is for a bit of experience if they are getting smashed. What's the standard of WAFL like too? For some reason i thought it wasn't that flash compared to SANFL, VFL etc.
