Can anyone fill me in on why the channel 10 commentators, mainly Walls have such a dislike for Richmond?

I know we sacked the guy as coach but all coaches get sacked, no-one leaves willingly.

It seems to me they have nothing but negativity for our boys and quite frankly, I'm sick of it!

His one word answer about whether Richo could win a Brownlow or not: no.

Geez, Walls, thanks for the insight. How about elaborating a little on this?

I hope he does win the Brownlow then shoves it up Walls' date.

I hope we can keep winning this year and silence the one-sided commentary from ten.
 
...not to mention Healy , Frawley and Shaw on Fuxtel. Can't wait to watch On The Couch tonight , so I can see another 15 seconds discussion about Richmond...which would probably usually be at least a minute if Walls didn't interupt as soon as we get mentioned to change the subject.....____in' Carlton twat...:mad::thumbsd::mad:

Indeed. It's kind of funny how the majority of the knockers have failed at Tigerland. They can't seem to grasp the notion of objectivity.
 
Imagine for one second the sight of the Tiger Army in full flight, half p;issed and singing its lungs out after Richmond wins its fourth flag in 7 years and looks to have built a dynasty that has a strangehold on playing finals footy for the foreseeable future. The toughest on field to beat and the most rabid , feral and diehard supporter bunch in the league. I grew up in that environment as did Walls, Shaw, Frawley et al. Unlike me they have a vested interest in not wanting to ever recreate that monster again. I can't wait.

I'm sure they'll just focus on how bad essendon were rather than how silly we made em look in the first half.

I watched the replay last night and saw that question about the Brownlow and Richo you mentioned. What a dick. Then someone asked about how good Richo is or something, and the ____ goes 'he's on the verge of being a champion'. Get ____ed Walls, you know as well as we do how good he is. I know the word champion is pretty vague, but to not rate Richo as a champion you'd have to classify about 20 players in the history of the game as one. He is an absolute superstar and you know it, how about you get over your petty little grudge and do your job how you're meant to - unbiased.
 
Hated it when Richo took a mark right on the line (our last goal) and I dont know who said it but someone said something like 'this is no certainty' :rolleyes:

Yet all night they were saying how good Lloyd had been etc..
 
Has anybody else noticed on Francis Bourke's Toyota ad at the start that Steve Curry and the other dude are sitting in a tree, and then jump down when they're talking about the Tigers. What does this mean?:confused:

what do they have in common ?

All complete and utter failures as coaches .

How do they validate themselves as media ..."experts" . ???

By trying to sound intelligent , and what a great job they do of pumping thier own tyres up by bagging Richmond ....:thumbsu: ... great one guys , so insightful .

Frawley and Walls are so bitter when it comes to all things Richmond its comical in the extreme .

The channel ten commentary team is the worst going around by the length of the Flemington straight ... Steve "cannot string two words together" Quartermain is the worst of the lot . is not a commentators @rsehole ... but thats what you get when you sell your souls for the rights and are left to run the show with shoe-strings and sticky tape , you get your newsreader to commentate as well :thumbsu: ... LMAO @ Packers final masterstroke
 
Deep down, they know what's coming, and they can't handle it. Much like the opposition posters on BigFooty.
 
No, as an opposition supporter I see what's coming and I fear for the future of all of us opposition supporters and even mankind to find out what is going to happen.
It makes me cringe.

While his coaching reign wasn't the greatest, it would not be at the level of those other two jokes. He did coach a premiership in 87 and make a grand final in 86 more than what the other two did.

Criticise him all you want about bias etc.. when commentating, but don't put him on the same coaching level as Frawley and Shaw

Had that success on the back of the last of the "Chequebook era" footy when Elliot bought the best talent SA had to offer .

I could have coached Carlton to flag during that period

Was shown up when he was bought in to bolster middle of the road teams ...

The way he ungraciously blamed all and sundry at Richmond without shouldering any of the blame himself ... coupled with the hilarious way he "Claims" to have laid the foundations for the Lions success shows him up for the tool he really is .

If he claims that he laid the foundations for Brisbanes success , does that mean he laid the foundations for our shyteness ??? .... Whats it gonna be Walls ?

I have absolutely no regard for that man whatsoever

I'm not fussed by commentators. We haven't really done anything for 25 years and we are 11th on the ladder. Why should they be getting excited over us? :cool:. If we make the 8 then they will talk more about us. They still talk about us though :thumbsu:

In the Sunday Age Footy Preview Mag, Walls and Rohan Connolly picked us to finish 16th with Connolly tipping Essendon to finish 8th. Anyway, Walls comments were - "I sense Terry Wallace and his team are keeping quiet, as they brace themselves for a long losing season."
He's such a knob!
