A bit too early, but whatever.

In: Houli, Lovett
Out: Atkinson, Jetta/Neagle(If sore)

Jetta = gotta go, plus traded at years end. doesnt look interested.

Yeh, i think i may agree, i made that comment earlier today and got torn to shreds for it. Still he is only 19 and would not have fulfilled trade potential, give him a chance until he is at least 21.

His general dimena doesnt sit right with me. i think he has real talent dont get me wrong - but i would really like to get rid of him at years end, rather then him having another 2 ordinary seasons with us and him being worthless. ie Kepler

Jetta shouldn't be dropped and definitely won't be traded FFS. I was actually surprised to see he only had 8 possessions because he was always in the play and laid some nice tackles. I'd like to see Knighter just give him a go at the centre bounce, i know he's very small and lacks fitness to run the whole game but he always lines up on the wing but for little reward possession wise.
Houli, Gumbleton and Lovett could all be possible inclusions at this stage. Anyone know how long Winders is out for? I saw in another thread that someone said a month?! I think that Atkinson and Nash should be dropped but not too sure if anyone else deserves to be dropped on last nights performance

Getting rid of Jetta would be a massive step backwards. Have some patience, he's a smallish 19 year old with serious talent & an improving work ethic
At a club with a stronger 1st 22, he'd be afforded the odd spell back in Bendigo - our predicament means he's a required player when he's probably not quite there yet

In: Houli Lovett
Out: McPhee Nash
Yes that is 2 talls for 2 smalls but McPhee couldn't find a hole big enough last night. Saw enough in Atkinson to give him another week

i think it should be

ins - houli and lovett

outs - atkinson (unlucky showed alot but someone's got to go)
and to be quite honest i'm not sure else who to drop

i don't think it should be mcphee he presented well found the ball alot he was our 3rd highest possison getter
nash- no his just starting to get his kicking back to his best and we need that his so accurate and damnaging with pinpoint passes

McPhee are you kidding he was very good last night what game were you watching. I haven't even looked at the stats but I would say he would have taken about 10 marks prob 4 or 5 contested and worked tirelessly. Were you at the game.

Slatts - are you serious? I understand that he turned it over a bit last night but his marking was outstanding. I am not sure of what you saw in Atkinson that would place him ahead of McPhee??

and McPhee is not a tall BTW - Nash is not either

McPhee's been playing as a marking target. I just thought he was terrible last night, everything he isn't great at was amplified. Ball went on the ground, he'd over run it - that happened 3 or 4 times. Take a mark, he couldn't find an option. & That play on
I thought his mistakes far outweighed his positives. That's all.

I liked Atkinson's attack & marking. We are screaming out for another small/midsized defender & I think he should be persisted with for the time being.

He had 100% efficiency last night, played pretty good on wirra except would get done for quickness on the lead.

I thought he was good last night...

Jetta watches play and doesn't make a big enough effort to win the ball.

Myer's disposal last night was very ordinary. NLM was ordinary last night, did a couple good things... a lot of bad things.

Slattery's best game in the red and black! Lloyd's best game in 5 years and Mcphee's best game in 3 years! I'm sceptical they can keep that up.

Really?

Apart from a few kicks I thought it was quite good. He is one of the few players on our team who instinctively kicks the ball long running out of defence, he did it at least 3-4 times in the second quarter. His kicking efficiency is down due to the fact he kicked long to one on one contests.
