Which media personality dislikes the AFC the most?

You've all missed the obvious one. The Port Adelaide Magpie man himself - Dwayne Russell.

I've known Dwayne since he was a teenager, and he doesn't dislike the Crows, he loathes them.
When other teams even just score against us, his voice rises several decibels and he needs a cold spoon to get himself back under control.

This maybe true but it does not come out in his commentary UNLIKE Rucci and McDermott. McDermott can deny all he wants but he is still bitter about getting the sack as for Rooch if we were in Ports postion can you imange what crap he would be writting about us.He has writen some mildly bad articles about his power but nothing like he would write if we were in their postion.

I think McDermott's problem was that the club didn't find a spot for him after his demise. Think he wanted to be an asistant coach and expected it as a reward for service.

Lets not forget Don Scott. The most negative commentator when it came to the Crows.

True story about him when i worked at the races for a bookie one of the guys i worked with told me that after a game here in Adelaide CH 7 Melbourne did not get many calls of complaints about him from Adelaide and he got called in the office and told if this happens again you will be sacked

These guys are more anti non-victorian clubs than the crows specifically....

Tim Lane - His previously thinly veiled snipes at non-victorian clubs are no longer thinly veiled. His biggest trouble is he seems to believe his own publicity. His interview with Graham Cornes after Barrie Robran was elevated to legend status was just plain embarrassing, and good on Cornes for taking him down a peg or three.
Gerard Whately (ABC Melbourne 774) - Practically barracks for non-victorian clubs when calling games. If a non-victorian club does anything of note it scarcely rates a mention in his monday morning wrap.
Mark Fine (SEN) - Last year said the Collingwood v Carlton minor round clash was better than the previous years Grand Final (which the West Coast won by a point). Yeah of course it was Mark. Those minor round games which have everything on the line as oppossed to a Grand Final with the smallest of margins. Also the man "famous" for writing the trivia question in Inside Football "Which current AFL coach didn't play senior football?" . FFS Fine he captained a South Australian state team and played over 300 games of SANFL football you vic-centric fool.

A couple of others that have been previously mentioned....Tony Shaw. But let's face it if he manages to get a complete sentence out of his mouth without turning red and falling over it's an achievement. So you take what you can get with "Shawy".
Danny Frawley - Yes Danny. I was there the night of the spitting game. It was appalling, but It wasn't the Crows fault it was the rabble you were "coaching". Build a bridge.

Robert Walls cops it a lot from football fans of all teams, but the man forever has my respect after one night when Mike "Big V" Sheehan was banging on about the greatest players ever to play the game (note he said game not specifically VFL/AFL). Walls interupted with Barrie Robran. Sheehan then said "But he didn't play VFL". Walls then said "Doesn't matter". Sheehan then did the old "But he didn't play at the highest level" again Walls reiterated with "Doesn't matter". Also Walls has an understanding of SANFL and WAFL history, and is one of the very few Victorian commentators that realises that aussie rules was played west of Geelong prior to 1987.

While I remain sceptical about the Crows, despite their 8-4 return, they are hard and honest and nigh invincible at home, and the Hawks were able to come from behind without a major contribution from Buddy F, and with Trent Croad and Shane Crawford missing and Chance Bateman out of action before halftime.

Worth noting Adelaide won the corresponding fixture last year by 71 points. Teams moving in opposite directions, I suspect.

Whats funny is how most commentators with a port background are unable to put their hate of the crows behind them which just ends up making them look silly.

I would say rucci only writes what he does because otherwise no one would read his articles. Like when he volunteered to come on 5aa free of charge. He did so for the recognition. Thats not to say he doesnt dislike the AFC and is willing to let unprofessionalism get in the way of a good article, like with his current spat port power.

Apart from his quick TV comments Robert walls is actually pretty good to listen to and certainly doesnt dislike the crows.

Walls often has positive things to say about the crows.

Sheehan just dismisses the crows because he has never forgiven them for crushing Saints and North Melbourne after he wrote huge articles proclaiming both melbourne teams would win those GFs.
We made him look like the dick he is and he didn't like it then, and has since been in denial about the quality of the crows.

Rucci. Pffft. Rucci. Thinks the crows should spill their guts about everything to him, and they treat him in a dismissive manner which he really, really hates.
His writing is nearly always poisoned with negative and condescending language, which is a shame really, because he writes a damn handy travelogue (and should stick to doing so). He is just a foot-stomping tantrum-child when it comes to the crows. Puerile, mostly.
