The thing is, the person the current settings help the most are JD, so if anyone would want it changed it should be me and Mord who are division rivals, yet we want it to stay, Mord even with probably only 1 starting QB, i think that says a lot

Yet JD is fine with it. He aint whinging and he understands.

For the best interest of the league, the ability to start 4 QBs should be abolished.

Fact is you have only Romo and Leinart at QB, so obviously would prefer the starters cut down

OK then, we all agree, From what i have read, is that we should Keep the OP positions so that we can have the option to play all Offensive positions, but we go on some sort of good faith basis that we can only start 3 QBs?

And what are you saying about my AWSOME QB situation..... You just wait!! JUST WAIT I SAY!!

Well, it's up to everyone to express their vote then. I just dont want to have a farcical league and everyone stops playing it. Why I asked you, mord, and others for their opinions on the pts. Was pushing hard for the QB pts to be reduced back then.

I mean, the only thing holding this OP idea back from being cool is that if the QB pts were 4 it would be FINE for all. As silly as it may be to start 4 QBs, you could start 4 TEs. It's silly no matter. But i like the OP silliness. It's not about having a proper starting team--1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WRs, 1 TE.....but about management creativity, attacking strategy in different ways by playing 4 QBs or 5 RBs/WRs or 4 TE's, or a combination of WR/TE/RB/QB.

M.Bush is a good punt. I didnt want to pick only because I cant have 50 RBs on my roster. I had to take a punt elsewhere with the likes of who I took. Some good value RBs like M.Bush can be shared around.

I'll give you my take (for what it is worth). It is going to be a crowded backfield in Oakland with FAD, Fargas, Bush and Jordan. I would expect Jordan to be cut, so that leaves 3. Hype dictates that FAD will get a good look at it, a new contract for Fargas may mean early carries, which leaves Bush. 3rd down back maybe, he is a bit bigger than the other 2, can catch (so can FAD), so may be used for some passing plays. Comes down to his conditioning as well. Has not played for 2 years!

I hope (obviously) he does well, and if so a FAD/Bush double act may be the future.

Also, the OP thing is an ESPN built option. I didnt invent it. The scroll down bar allows you to have anything from 0 to 40 OPs. Ie, CUSTOM LEAGUE. People to customize leagues to be different. Some people out there I bet ARE setting up RB leagues, or QB leagues, etc.

I could've made it no starters on offense, but just 9 open OP positions to fill how you want. But you need some initial basis first....1 qb, 2 rbs, 2 wrs, 1 te....that's a good base. From there, it's just then either 1 OP......or.......what i wanted, in making all positions score relatively equally so that people had choices every week whether to play qbs or tes or wrs.

And if you have voted NO to whatever it is, and you have intimated that Mordikai will vote NO, and you are in the same division, and it only takes 2 from one division to vote NO to stop any changes, we need not bother voting.

The system i suggested earlier was only a proposal, up to gg, options for it are:

simply 9 out 12 vote YES

or

at least 3 out 4 in each division vote YES which will in turn give at least 9 out of 12 (to replicate the Australian referendum system)

nah, something as major as this needs more than a simple majority vote, major changes should require minimum 75%, just like how a change to the constitution requires more than a simple majority

I dont want any change to be outside ESPN. It has to be inside the system. Like an actual roster change so that people know they cant drag and drop that extra QB.
