Anyone know the finals fixture or we still a few weeks away?

Week 1 - 3 v 4 (Winner plays week 3, loser is out)

Week 2 - 1 v 2 (Winner through to GF, loser plays winner 3 v 4)

Week 3 - Premlim

Week 4 - GF

Guess the vafa decided on a 4 week series due to ground availablity, not ideal though.

Anyone know where each game will be played or if on a Sat or Sun?

Still plugged in - well done on your win. Thought it was a great game with both teams dead on their feet in the last qtr. We had our chances early in the last but Laz's goal from the boundary broke the deadlock.

Interesting - I have always thought the 4 week finals series disadvantages the loser of the 2nd semi. Gulp....

Some of your fellow OEG posters pulled the same trick after last years debacle to deflect the focus on your finals performance and inhouse turmoil. It's a shame they didn't show the same respect when starting unfounded rumours about other clubs.

Peter just wondering if you have any worth while comments you can enlighten us with after SKOBS loss and end to their 08 season . Maybe we will just have to wait another twelve months and for SKOBS to have a decent win before we hear from you again . Stick to the VFL thread and i hope Box Hill can eventually get off the bottom of the ladder ,but then again with supporters like you i dont hold much hope .

Caulfield (9th) v Carey (5th)- Could Caul pull off a win at home to keep the '09' B-Grade hope's alive...? In a word- no. (tip- Marcellin)

Camberwell (7th) v OEG (1st)- Could turn out to be an interesting game this one. OEG going along OK at the moment, Camberwell with not a lot to play for... (tip- OEG)

OM's (8th) v Marcellin (4th)- Will tip an upset here just for the hell of it... (tip- OM's)

St Bernards (2nd) v SKOB (6th)- Probably the game of the round at the snakpit. I cant remember the last time SKOBS's 1's or 2's won there... (tip- St B's)

Beau (10th) v OH (3rd)- This will be ugly.... visitors by a stack (tip- OH)

I would say it has to do with everything pretty much set 4 weeks out from the end of the season.
If you go through it only 4 teams really post on here OEG, St.B, OH and SKOB. DC from Marc has probably lost his password again. Carey, OC & OMs have given us donuts all year. Caul posters have dropped off considerably after their pre-season predictions of taking B grade by storm and Beauy are still trying to work out Misfuds game plan.
In saying that with 4 teams locked in the lure of resting key players for the finals series may throw up all sorts of results for the month of August.

The ressies battles look a lot more interesting with the double chance still up for grabs and a few teams trying to take 4th.
