yeah, only 4, but by that time your player should be high 90's. im 2 games into my 2nd season and im about 83 I think.

SO what happens after the 4 years? Is your rating set in stone and you can then take your player into another team for regular play?

Basically you pick a team of your choice, then you pick one of their players OR create your own.
If you created your own, you will begin in the RESERVES team.

How it works is, you can only control YOUR player and while not with the ball, its up to you to position yourself correctly and mark the correct players (both are indicated with arrows and red circles). You can request that a players passes OR that he shoots and you can also request 2nd man puts pressure on a tackle.

So yeah, you get points for succesful requests, tackles, shots on goal, goals, jostles etc... and you lose points if the are not succesful.

The camera basically focuses on you, and when you are playing as a FWD for example and the ball is down in your defensive half, the camera zooms out to show where you are and the actual play. When the ball is in the FWD half, the camera zooms in closer to frame the play.
But one of the coolest parts is that when running into goal the camera zooms right in behind the player and you can hear his footsteps and breathing etc.

When you have played enough gd games. You will be asked to play SENIORS and then eventually NATIONALLY.

There are about 6 stages you progress up for both CLUB and NATIONAL i.e RESERVE, RESERVE CAPTAIN, SENIOR OCCASSIONAL etc.

And it goes for 4 Seasons and you can change clubs at the end of a season, i got about 4 offers.

You can try and progress to become a Legend of your club I think?? Or legendry striker/defender etc. I've read something about that somewhere...

I'm loving BAP, it is really fun to take your player from the reserves of an A-League team, into the Seniors then the National, then into one of the more succseful teams at the end of each season, for myself I have so far stayed in Melbourne for 2 years, got captaincy of the National side before captain of the Victory, won the Championship with them, then I got an offer from Chelsea and decided it was my time to move, now I am playing in the reserves, just waiting for my chance at the firsts team, after my first reserves game I was announced captain of them so I would imagine I will be up to the seniors very soon.

Also, I've been meaning to ask, what formation do most of you guys use, the default one is alright at times, but often frustrates me when I am trying to set up plays as I don't have enough players forward, and often see the ball just go straight back the other way.

I don't mind it, don't know what 06, 07 or 08 were like, but there is a nice mix of songs for 09.

4-2-1-3.
Defenders are set to zero attack.
MIDS are pushed wide and told to Heavily Defend.
CAM is extremely powerful, DEF mid-strength and attacking heavily, but given lots of room on the field.
STR pretty muh normal.

I'm basically a very COUNTER ATTACKING team, ill kill any team on the break, but give my CAM ne width while in a congested attack and he'll punish from distance. Which happens rarely in World Class

Has neone here scored a long goal yet (20m+)? its bloody hard and as i mentioned b4, the woodwork loves me lol.

Have only played BAP so far. Created an midfielder and selected CAM as his default position, but they keep playing me on the left. Got called up to the Man United senior side after 6 games, scored on debut. It's pretty awesome so far, but I don't have a massive TV so when the camera pulls away in defence, I can't see much at all. Having trouble shooting also. Does anyone else think the camera angle when you are one on one with the keeper sucks? I can't see a ****ing thing.

Anyway, good game so far.

Or it's "funner" trying to get into a harder team? Surely playing for a side like Melbourne Victory would be far too easy because you would almost start in the senior side.

Try playing in World Class, its way better.

And yeah the view does suck a bit, its hard to see defenders approaching you laterally. you can change the view if you wish.

As for Richo is God, get over it mate, I started with AC and I still had fun, im now playing for Berlin and its a bit harder. But its not like he's locked into Man U for the rest of his campaign.

Yeh i was playing my cousin, he shot from just in half way and he scored, this was the first shot he he had on the game, i thought it was a fluke. But then the next day i scored from almost the same spot.

wow... i didnt mean that long.
i scored one yesty from about 22m's and i have many that fly over the crossbar. the poor bastards in the crowd must hate it cus the shots are flying!
however, my team isnt that great yet and atm i only really have one bloke on the team that can slot them from distance and he doesnt get ne room on the ground.
