Is this one BAP or just normal game play?

Because my BAP guy has 90 power and 88 finishing yet he can't score from outside the box ever.

The ball just always flies over or sideways.

Yeah, my player is rated ok in these areas and can't even get close from even medium distances. I suppose there is a sense of realism, as it's not easy to stroll through and smash one through from 30 yards, but shit, one more shot in the second level of the stands and I'll bust the TV.


Playing on the left for Man United is a tough gig I've realised. They keep passing to that gender neutral Portugese fella on the right and that prick won't pass the ball. Is there a feature that allows you to break his legs at training?

as per usual there is some good and some bad.. it's actually probably the most "chart friendly" playlist for a while.. there is Cut Copy, MGMT, Sam Sparro, The Veronica's:eek:, The Kooks and The Fratelli's etc.. it's not the worst soundtrack by any means..

Yeah the first game I played ended up a 1-1 draw, then when I was getting ready for the next game, the table said I had lost.
 
Na its not, it keeps track of only the first team on the table.

Finished my first season in bap with the roar. Played pretty shit and signed with Southhampton. My plan is two spend two years with them getting them promoted and then move on to a big name club to finish my career

I'm playing on World Class in my BAP career now and it's brilliant. Very good challenging but so fun, and very rewarding if you do manage to score.

I was named Captain of Atletico last night which was pretty cool. I can edit formations, make subs etc now but I don't do that. I only change the First XI every now and then because that never seems to change... I brought Diego Forlan into the side inplace of Aguero just so I could play alongside the Scousebuster. Aguero is better though.

In my last game last night I managed to score twice, both were fairly simple tap-ins but it was pretty exciting stuff. We are top by a point with a game in hand on Barca, but next time we face them it will be a lot tougher than last time I imagine.

I will see what happens at the end of the season and might move elsewhere, depends who puts an offer in. Does anybody know if you get to play in the Champions League? There doesn't seem to be any Cups, just league games which is a little disappointing.

Don't forget One Loaf Of Bread by Damian Marley, the best of the Great One's sons IMHO.

Agree with you on the 'chart friendly'. Usually you can count on FIFA and Rugby to unearth some artist you have never heard of that is pretty damn good. This year they have pretty much just gone with popular songs though. Remember when Rugby 05(I think) introduced me to The Subways.

I don't know why they've only made BAP mode for 4 seasons. Why can't they make it unlimited or at least 20 (You could move on from one player to another)?

I'll get FIFA 2010 when they've made BAP mode a lot longer.

Probably because your player would be maxed out by the 6th year, what you have to remember is that you get points to distribute after each game to make your player better.

It would be good to have it longer, but it is perfectly reasonable not to.

I'm the complete opposite, Got the game yesterday, playing World Class on manager mode, but am lucky to get a rating of 6 or better on Semi-Pro in BAP.

Really?

An 8 or a 9 only needs 4 or 5 complete passes and a few dribbles.

A goal also boosts your rating.

What team are you playing as and what position is your pro?

I'm playing with Newcastle United and he is a CAM, but playing on the right as a winger.

In my experiences with FIFA 08 on 360 the XP points players received was more realistic. For example when you created a player and they would start off with a mid 60s rating it would take you a good 10 seasons to get low to mid 80s.

There was however an issue of players continually improving no matter how old they were and it would get to the point where there was nearly 50 players in the game with 90+ ratings.
 
yer but after 10 years most of the modern day players we know will be retired or too old, the point of it is to play the the current superstars at a good level.
